Legendary movie star, Jim Carrey, has announced he will put an end to his increasingly sporadic acting career. Instead, choosing to focus on his artistic talents and forthcoming NFT drop.

Carrey, who has over the years become disillusioned with Hollywood evangelism revealed a desire to distance himself from the industry, indicating that ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ may even be his last ever feature. Not a man to rest on his laurels however, the Truman Show star will breeze straight into an NFT launch slated for an April release.

Titled ‘Magic Hour,’ Jim Carrey’s NFT collection will initially launch through a dedicated website. Little is known of the artworks however, other than representing a mix of Jim’s artwork and spoken word musings, potentially featuring some of his trademark rants against the cult of celebrity.

During an interview, the actor with a career spanning 40 years, revealed it would take something really special to lure him back to the silver screen. However, country music legend and all round excellent human being, Dolly Parton, is rumoured to want him for a role.
